100([b-k]/b) percent of the bricks have not yet been stacked

It is given that the total number of bricks that are needed to be stacked = b.

Number of bricks which have been stacked = k.

So, the number of bricks that havent been stacked is equal to (Total bricks - number of stacked bricks)

= (b - k)

To represent the percentage of bricks which are unstacked.

It is equal to [(Unstacked bricks / Total bricks) × 100]%

= [ (b-k)/b × 100]%

= 100([b-k]/b) %
