There are certain number of birds on one tree and certain no. of birds on another tree. If the one bird fly from 1st tree and goes on another tree then birds on second tree becomes double the no. of birds on 1st tree and if one bird fly from second tree and goes on 1st tree then the no. of birslds on both the trees become equal. so find the no. of birds sitting on both the trees earlier.​

then,

y-1=x+1
