Earth’s interior is made of different kinds of layers. Each of these layers are different from each other by their physical and chemical properties. The discontinuties can be between SIAL and SIMA , between the Crust and Mantle , between Outer mantle and Inner mantle, between Mantle and Core, between Outer core and Inner core.
