Here is your answer dear✌

1] Earth's interior is made up of different materials.

2] Each of those materials are different from each other by chemical and physical properties eg., temperature, density, etc.

3] Unique layers are there according to their characteristics inside the earth.

4] All those layer are separated from each other through a transition zone. These transition zones are called discontinuities.

5] There are five discontinuities in the interior of the earth. They are as follows :-

1. Conrad discontinuities => between continental and oceanic crust.

2. Moho discontinuities => between the crust and the mantle.

3. Repiti discontinuities => between the outer mantle and inner mantle.

4. Gutenburg discontinuities => between the mantla and the core.

5. Lehman discontinuities => between the outer core and inner core.

Hope my answer helps you dear✌

BrainlyPrincess: it's little long answer but one thing is that you cannot reduce it as one points is related to another point

There is difference between the elements temperatures and the pressure found in the three parts of the interior of the earth viz. Crust, Mantle and Core. In the interior of the earth, the transitional area are found between

(a) Continental Crust and Oceanic crust.

(b) Crust and Mantle.

(c) Upper Mantle and Lower Mantle.

(d) Mantle and Core.
