total no. of people = 5
no. of people you killed =4
remaining = 5-4 = 1 answer

You said there were 5 people, I think you didn't include yourself..(as you need to kill you should be there )

there will be 6 now

you have killed 4 of them

so there will be two left ( one is yourself and another one is of that one from 5 people)
