Answer:

Explanation:

Given : five red balls, three yellow balls, and four green balls in a bin. pick one ball from the bin and observe the color of the ball.

To find : Probability of each ball

Solution:

Red Balls  = 5

Yellow Balls  = 3

Green Balls = 4

Total Balls = 5 + 3 + 4  = 12

Probability of Red Ball  =  Number of Red Balls / Total Balls

=>Probability of Red Ball  =  5/12  = 0.417

Probability of Yellow Ball  =  Number of Yellow Balls / Total Balls

=>Probability of Yellow Ball  = 3/12  = 1/4 = 0.250

Probability of Green Ball  =  Number of Green Balls / Total Balls

=>Probability of Green  Ball  =  4/12  = 1/3  = 0.333
