A gas giant planet is one that is composed of gases- hydrogen and helium with a small rocky core.
Example of this giant planets are Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune.
Uranus and Neptune are small with big orbits, thus it was difficult for them to collect hydrogen and helium.
And, Jupiter and Saturn are pollute with methane and ammonia
