There are lots of environmental problems now-a-days, mainly because of pollution. It is the
contamination ofair, water and soil by different materials that interfere with human health and quality
of life
The emissions from industries and engines, including cars, are big causes of air pollution and
simple things that we do at home, like using aerosols, have bad effects on the ozone layer, which
protects life on earth from ultraviolet radiation.
Water is also getting polluted by domestic, municipal and industrial wastes.
It is up to us to stop damaging the environment. We all should become environment friendly!

Answer:

1) The harmful activities of humans like deforestation, pollution, global warming is a major threat to the environment. Deforestation disturbs the balance between major respiratory gases. It also creates problems like soil erosion, land degradation etc. Global warming causes an excessive heating effect which may lead to shifting of climate. The population is also a major threat which creates a major threat for the environment.

2) Air pollution is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in the air. These particles and gases can come from car and truck exhaust, factories, dust, pollen, mold spores, volcanoes and wildfires. The solid and liquid particles suspended in our air are called aerosols

3) Land Disturbance. A more basic cause of environmental degradation is land damage. ...

Pollution. Pollution, in whatever form, whether it is air, water, land or noise is harmful to the environment. ...

Overpopulation. ...

Landfills. ...

Deforestation. ...

Natural Causes.

4) The ozone layer in the stratosphere absorbs a portion of the radiation from the sun, preventing it from reaching the planet's surface. Most importantly, it absorbs the portion of UV light called UVB. ... The ozone layer protects the Earth against most UVB coming from the sun.

5) Water bodies can be polluted by a wide variety of substances, including pathogenic microorganisms, putrescible organic waste, plant nutrients, toxic chemicals, sediments, heat, petroleum (oil), and radioactive substances.

6) Being eco-friendly or environmentally friendly is becoming more and more important. Eco-friendly products promote green living that help to conserve energy and also prevent air, water and noise pollution. They prove to be boon for the environment and also prevent human health from deterioration.
