true that there are mosquitoes, but no more than you will find in the archipelago of Stockholm or in the woods in Skåne. There are more mosquitoes in late spring/early summer, in mountain birch forests and near bog areas. Later in the summer there are few mosquitoes - sometimes none! Up on the mountain where the wind almost always blows, there are next to no mosquitoes.
