1 rupee=100paise
so using unitary method,
1/100 rupee=1 paise
therefore 25 paise=25/100 rupees
let there be x no. of 25 paise coins be in the purse
total value of money in the purse=17.5 rupees
so,(value of 1 coin)*(no. of coins)=(total value) -eqn 1
(25/100)*(x)=17.50
x=17.50/(25/100)
x=17.50*100/25
x=1750/25
x=70
in equation 1 we need to put "value if 1 coin" and "total value" have to be in same unit,here i converted all into paise you cann convert it into rupees too
