There are paper slips numbers 1,2,3..10 in a box and slips numbered 5,10 and 15 in another. If we select one from each what is the probability that contains an even number and an odd number?​

In the first box, there are 10 numbers ( 1 to 10). And the even numbers are 2,4,6,8 and 10. Total 5 even numbers. so the probability of choosing an even number is 5 by 10 =1 by 2 and the odd number is 1 by 2

In the second box there are 3 numbers 5,10 and 15 and the even number is 10 ( 1 number ). so the probability of choosing an even number is 1 by 3

and the odd number is 2 by 3
