There are pink pages & green pages in Red data book compiled by IUCN for providing data information of all endangered animals & plants. Guess why some pages are pink & some are green.

There are pink and green pages in the RED data book compiled by IUCN for all endangered animals and plants. Specifically these two colors are used because every color has a meaning and significance. Green color is a universal color for peace, healthy environment  and tress so this is used for plants in the book whereas the red color is for endangered animals which represent threat and danger  so here to denote that pink is used.
