Acc to the question, red : green = 6 : 3 i.e. 2:1

That means no of red balls were twice that of green balls.

So, let the number of green balls be x, so red balls will be 2x.

So, total balls will be 3x.

If 4 green balls are added then red : green = (2x) : (x+4)

Also, it is said that ratio becomes 3:4.

Therefore, (2x) : (x+4) = 3:4

or, 8x = 3x + 12

or, 5x = 12

or, x = 2.4 i.e. red balls = 2 and green ball = 1 [approx]

So, either the final ratio should be 2:3 or my answer is correct.

If the ratio would be 2:3, then (2x) : (x+4) = 2:3

or, 6x = 2x + 8

or, 4x = 8

or, x = 2.

That means, red balls = 4, green balls = 2.
