Answer:

61

Step-by-step explanation:

LET THE NO.OF DEER'S BE 'X'

LET THE NO.OF PEACOCK'S BE 'Y'

NO.OF LEGS OF 1 DEER = 4

NO.OF LEGS OF DEER'S = 4X

SIMILARLY,

NO.OF LEGS OF PEACOCK'S = 2Y

4X + 2Y = 200            _____||||eq.(i)

NO. OF HEADS OF DEER'S = X

NO. OF HEADS OF PEACOCK'S = Y

X + Y = 72            ____||||eq.(ii)

from eq.(i) & eq.(ii) we get,

2X = 56 ⇒  X = 28

Y = 72 - X ⇒ Y = 44
