Let x be 25 paise coins and y be 50 paise coins

So x + y = 100

25x + 50y = 4250

25 ( x + 2y ) = 4250

x + 2y = 170

x + y = 100

x = 100 - y

100 - y + 2y = 170

y = 170 - 100

y = 70

x + y = 100

x + 70 = 100

x = 100 - 70

x = 30

So there are 30 coins of 25 paise and 70 coins of 50 paise.

Hope it helps you.

hey friend!!!!

let's X be 25 paise coin and Y be 50 paise coin

according to question

x+y = 100

25x+50y = 4250

X + 2y = 170_______1

x+y = 100_______2

by equation 1 - equation2

then we get

"y = 70"

put the value of y

then

X + Y = 100
X = 100-70 = 30

"X = 30"

so there are "30 coin" of 25 paise and "70" coin of 50 paise..

I think my answer is capable to clear your confusion..
