Let the number 50 paisa coins= x the number of 25 paise coins = y According to the question , x ➕ y = 30.....(1) 50x➕ 25y = 1100( 1 rupee = 100 paise).....(2) Substitute y = 30 in (2) We get X = 14 Substitute x =14 in (1) We get Y = 16 Therefore. There are 14 50 paise coins and 16 25 paise coins

Let the number of 50 paisa coins be x.

Number of 25 paisa coins will be 30-x.

According to the question,

50x + 25(30-x) = Rs. 11 = 1100 paisa

50x + 750 - 25x = 1100

25x = 1100 - 750

25x = 350

x = 14

Hence, the number of 50 paisa coins is 14 and the number of 25 paisa coins is 16.
