There are some 50 paisa and some 25 paisa coins in a bag. If the total number of coins is 30 and their total value is ₹11, find the number of coins in each kind.​

Let the number 50 paisa coins= x the number of 25 paise coins = y According to the question , x ➕ y = 30.....(1) 50x➕ 25y = 1100( 1 rupee = 100 paise).....(2) Substitute y = 30 in (2) We get X = 14 Substitute x =14 in (1) We get Y = 16 Therefore. There are 14 50 paise coins and 16 25 paise coins
