Answer: 50p = 14

25p = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Total no. coins = 30

Let no. of 50p coins = x

So, no. of 25p coins = 30 - x

₹11 = 11 × 100

= 1100p

Now, 50x + 25 (30 - x) = 1100

50x + 750 - 25x = 1100

50x - 25x = 1100 - 750

25x = 350

x = 350/25

x = 14

Therefore, no. of 50p coins = x = 14

No. of 25p coins = 30 - x = 30 - 14 = 16
