The difference between the  number of biscuits and the students is 80

Step-by-step explanation:

Let total number of stdents = y

Let total number of biscuits = x

If 5 biscuits given to each student in a class 4 student don't get any biscuit.

Therefore we can write,

5(y-4)=x ---------(i)

If 4 biscuits given to each student, 5 biscuits remain

Therefore we can write,

4y +5 = x ---------(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii), we get,

y =25

and

x= 105

Therefore x-y = 105-25 =80

The difference between the  number of biscuits and the students is 80
