Correct Question:

There are some five rupees and ten rupees coins in raman hand. Number of Five rupees coin is one higher than ten rupees coin. If the sum of the coins he have is rupees 80. Then how many coins did he have in each category?

Answer:

5 coins of ₹10 and 6 coins of ₹5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of ₹10 coins be x

then no. of ₹5 coins will be ( x + 1 )

So, the value of money in total Raman has

10 x + 5( x + 1 ) = 10 x + 5 x + 5

= 15 x + 5

He has a total of ₹ 80 with him.

Therefore, 15 x + 5 = 80

so, 15 x = 80 - 5 = 75

or, x = 75 / 15

so, x = 5

Hence, Raman has a total of

5 ₹10 coins and 6 ₹5 coins.
