There are some oranges and apples in a basket. If their ratio be 4:5 and the number of oranges be 16 then find the total number of fruits in the basket.​

So, in the ratio 4 = 16 .

Now,

$\frac{4 \times 4}{5 \times 4}=\frac{16}{20}$

So, apples = 20

Total fruits = 20+16 = 36
