let the number of oranges in the bag be x.

when 10 more oranges are added into the bag (x + 10)

the numver becomes thrice the original numver of oranges (3x)

x + 10 = 3x

10 = 3x - x

10 = 2x

x = 10/2

x = 5

THE NUMBER OF ORANGES INITIALLY PRESENT IN THE BAG IS 5
