Let,the no. of Rs.2 coins be x

Hence,

According to the given condn;

No.of Rs.1 coins be 1/2 × x = x/2

Also,

x + x/2 = 315

2x + x/2 = 315

3x/2 = 315

Therefore,By cross multiplication,

3x = 315×2

3x = 630

Hence,x = 630/3

Therefore, x = 210

Therefore , the Rs.2 coins are 210

Now,

The no. of Rs.1 coins = Total coins - No. of Rs.2 coins

No.of Rs.1 coins = 315 - 210

= 105

Therefore,the no. of Rs.1 coins is 105
