Answer:

there have to be equal number of rows and columns, then each row will have the same number of students. the closest perfect root to 1000 is 961 which is 31. then there will be 31 rows and columns and 39 students will be left out

Answer:

 {x}^{2} \leqslant 1000

we know that 1000 is not a square number. So the number should be less that 1000

the greatest three digit square number is 961.

so no. of students left out = 1000 — 961 = 39
