total= 80
no of blue seats = x
p( e) = x/80

emilia254012: So... What is the answer? How many blue seats are there?

its just all about reading and understanding it,cause they gave the 2 and 3 in words just to trick us and see if we would understand.

we will first start by simplifying the question  :

blue : green

∴ 3:2

then sum of ratio=3+2

                            =5

the number of green = 80 x 2/5

                                   =160/5

                                    =32

the number of blue=80 x 3/5

                                =240/5

                                = 48

then to know if your answer is correct, its

32+48=80

i hope u understand it. :)

emilia254012: So the answer is 32 or 48?
preciousoca8: they are asking for the number of blue so its 48.
preciousoca8: sorry for the late reply i had a problem with the internet
