Answer:cost of 1kg mango is 55

So the contribution for each friend is around Rs18.33/18.34 and uncle returned1Rupee each. So it comes 19.33

: 19.33*3=58

58+2(in uncle'shand) =60

The remaining Rs. 1 is with the uncle.

Explanation:

•••••

The answer is in the cost of 1 kg mango.

  • The uncle has already taken Rs. 55 for mangoes.

Remaining = Rs. (60 - 55) = Rs. 5

Each friend was returned Rs. 1

  • Total returned = Rs. (3 × 1) = Rs. 3
  • Uncle has taken an extra Rs. 2

Total sum = Rs. (55 + 3 + 2) = Rs. 60

•••••

Therefore for each friend's Rs. 19, total money spent is = Rs. (19 × 3) = Rs. 57 and they were returned Rs. 3 in total.

  • Total = Rs. (57 + 3) = Rs. 60

Hence, Rs. 1 is not missing; it is just with the uncle from the beginning.
