Answer:

Change is the law of nature. Man's mood and spirits fluctuate like the weather. The poet is depressed and hopeless in the poem. He believes that the entire day has been squandered.

Fortunately, this is not the case. The fine snow dust falling on him causes an abrupt change in his mood. He realises that not everything is lost. There is still hope for forgiveness.

Without a doubt, a significant portion of the day has already passed. So far, today has been a disaster. But not any longer. A portion of the day has now been redeemed.

His mood has shifted due to the change in scenery. The feeling of regret had been replaced by joy.His spirits are no longer low. The sudden change outside also lifts his spirits and heart.
