There are twelve pairs of curved bones called P in our chest region that form
a box-like structure called the Q. The first seven pairs of these bones are joined to
backbone at one end and the other end is joined to R. The last two pairs of P are
not joined to R so they are called S. This strong box-like structure protects the
delicate internal organs like K, L, and M.
