There are twice as many boys as girls in the class.
let x = no. of girls
then
2x = no. of boys
and
3x = total number of students
2(2x)+35x the whole by 3x
=4x+35x the whole by 3x
=75x by 3x
75xby3x * 100 = 25% of the students have handed theirs in, therefore
75% have not
