There are two adjacent rooms of volumes Vi and V2 at
the same temperature of 25 °C. The rooms are separated
by a thin film of negligible volume. What will be the new
volume and temperature if the partition between the two
rooms is removed?

The new Volume will be

                              V1+V2

and the temperature will remain the same 25°.

Since it is given in the question that the temperature with both the volumes is the same that is 25°.

It is been separated by a thin film and when it will be removed just the volume will increase but the temperature will remain the same.
