area enclosed by two arcs = area of semicircle BQA - area of semicircle BPA
given, radius of semicircle BQA, r = 14cm
area of semicircle BQA = 1/2 × πr²
= 1/2 × 22/7 × (14)²
= 1/2 × 22/7 × 14 × 14
= 11 × 2 × 14 = 308 m²
radius of semicircle BPA , r' = 7cm
area of semicircle BPA = 1/2 πr'²
= 1/2 × 22/7 × (7)²
= 1/2 × 22/7 × 7 × 7
= 11 × 7 = 77 m²
now, area enclosed by two arcs = 308m² - 77m²
= 231 m²
