There are two assistants Seema (S) and Wilson (W) in an office. The probability that seema
will be absent on any given day is 0.05 and that Wilson will be absent on any given day
is 0.10. The probability that both will be absent on the same day is 0.02. Find the probability
that on a given day,

both Seema and Wilson would be present,
at least one of them would be present, and
(b)
only one of them will be absent.

Answer:

P(of event)=P+happening of event)+P(not happening of event) which is always equal to 1

Mathematically it can be expressed as

P(A)+P(-A)=1, P= Probability and A = Event

Both of them present

P(A)+P(B)=1

P(A)=1-(PB)= 1-0.02

=0.98 ans
