Bag A is sold at Rs. 390 for 3kg

then for 1 kg price of Bag A is Rs. 390/3 i.e Rs.130

Bag B is sold at Rs. 875 for 7 kg

then price of 1 kg for bag B is Rs. 875/7 i.e Rs. 125

since price of bag B per kg is cheaper choose Bag B

Given :

Price of oranges from bag A = ₹ 390 per 3 kgs

Price of oranges from bag B = ₹ 875 per 7 kgs

To find :

If the quality of oranges is the same then from which bag we should buy oranges from .

Solution :

Price of 1 kg of oranges from bag A = ₹ ( 390 / 3 ) = ₹ 130

Price of 1 kg of oranges from bag B = ₹ ( 875 / 7 ) = ₹ 125

I will buy oranges from bag B as it is cheaper than bag A  .
