There are two Bholis in the story "Bholi".In the beginning of the story we see a little girl Bholi who was afraid to talk as others laughed due to her stammers.She was shy and afraid of things.Later on she received great support from her teacher and she changed.In the end of the story the story gifts us a brave Bholi who hesitated to marry a man who demanded dowry on seeing the pock marks on her face.She took a firm decision that she would never marry such a greedy and heartless creature.Later she decided to be a teacher in the school in which she had learnt and took a decision that she would look after her parents.And at last her parents called her Sulekha as she transformed from a shy girl to a brave one.
