There are two bulbs and two cells... the positive terminal of one cell is connected to the metal base of one bulb and the negative terminal to the metal tip of the bulb. The other cell's negative terminal is connected to metal base of the bulb and positive terminal to the metal tip. Which bulb will glow? Will both glow? Why?
