There are two concentric circles A and B of radius 5 and 10 cm respectively on a board for a contest of archery. An arrow shot by yajuvendra will certainly hit inside the largest circle.
Find the probability of the following event.
1. the arrow will hit inside the circle A .
2. the arrow will hit between the two circles A and B

hey u can solve it like first calculate the area of whole cardboard
πR^2+πr^2
π(R^2+r^2)
22/7(25+100)
22/7×125
solve it get ur answer
pls mark it as brianilst it is my humble respect

Here is your answer
Area of big circle is πr^2
 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 10 {}^{2}  \\  \\  = 314.28 \: cm {}^{2}
Radius of Small circle is 5 cm

Area of small circle is
=
 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 5 {}^{2}  \\  \\  = 78.57 \: cm {}^{2}
Now Total Area is 314.28 +78.57
= 392.85

1) The probability of arrow will Hit inside circle A is
 =  \frac{314.28- 78.57}{392.85}  \\  \\  =  \frac{235.71}{392.85}  \\  \\  = 0.6
2)

The probability of the arrow will Hit between two circles is
 =  \frac{78.57}{392.85}  \\  \\  = 0.08
