Let radius of outer sphere is R and radius of inner sphere is r. charge on outer sphere is Q and charge on inner sphere is q.

now, potential on outer sphere, V = kq/R + kQ/R = k(q + Q)/R = 10 volts ....(1)

potential on inner sphere , v = kq/r + kQ/R = 15 volts ....(2)

from equations (1) And (2),

kq/r - kq/R = 5

or, kq(1/r - 1/R) = 5......(3)

a/c to question, outer sphere is grounded .so, potential on outer sphere , V= 0

so, k(q + Q)/R = 0 => q = -Q

now potential on inner sphere , v = kq/r + kQ/R

= kq/r + k(-q)/R

= kq(1/r - 1/R)

from equation (3),

= 5

hence, potential on inner spherical shell is 5 volts.
