then the first discount=100-35=65
then the second discount=65-(10%of65)=65-6.5=58.5
total discount =100-58.5=41.5%
let the price of jeans be x
then
41.5/100×x=1170
=41.5x=117000
x=117000/41.5
x=2819.27
