There are two containers X and Y containing 40 litres each of liquid A and liquid B respectively.
10 litres of liquid A from X is taken and poured into Y. then 5 litres of the mixture from Y is taken
and poured in X. What is the ratio of liquid Bin X and y​

And ,

If Y=40 +10-5.(since we consider Y =B liquid)

Given, the ratio of liquid bin x and of liquid bin y.

So,

X/Y=35/45

X/Y=7/9.

There fore , the ratio of liquid bin x and y =7/9.
