There are two containers X and Y containing each 40 litres of liquid of A and B respectively. 10 litres of liquid A from X is taken and poured into to Y, then 5 litres of the mixture from Y is taken and poured into X. What is the ratio of liquid B in X and Y?​

x=35.

And , If Y=40 +10-5.(since we consider Y =B liquid)

(Also, here 10 litres is added and 5 litres is removed)

y=45.

Now,

Given, the ratio of liquid bin x and of liquid bin y.

So,

X/Y=35/45

X/Y=7/9.

There fore , the ratio of liquid bin x and y =7/9.
