Step-by-step explanation

Let the amount of oil drawn ----> "x"

Let the price of oil in C1 ----> A

Let the price of oil in C2 -----> B

Now, cost per litre of oil in container C1....

----> (128 - X) A + (X)B / 128  ____(1)

Similarly, cost per litre  in container C2...

----> (192 - X)B + (X)A / 192   _____(2)

Equating (1) & (2)

(128 - X) A + (X)B / 128 =  (192 - X)B + (X)A / 192

{(128 - X) A + (X)B} 192 = { (192 - X)B + (X)A } 128    -( Divide by 64)

{(128 - X) A + (X)B} 3  = { (192 - X)B + (X)A } 2

384A + 3X ( B- A) = 384B + 2X( A-B)

384 ( A - B) = 3X ( A-B) + 2X ( A - B )

384 = 3X + 2X

5X = 384

Therefore, X = 78.6 litres
