There are two cube-shaped tanks. One
of the tanks has a side of length 3 m,
while the other one has a side measuring
half of the first one. Which tank can
store more water? Give reason.

it's a = 3

then

it's volume is = a^3

= 3^3 = 27 m^3

for second tank

it's a = 3/2

then,

it"s volume is= a ^ 3

=(3/2)^3

= 27/4 m^3

= 3.37

then,

volume is 1 st tank is greater than the second tank

this is why 1st store more water
