Number of students in Hall A = 80

Number of students in Hall B = 100

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of students in Hall A and Y be the number of students in Hall B.

Given:

x - 10 = y + 10

x - y = 20 -------------(1)

(x + 20) = 2(y - 20)

x - 2y = -60 ----------(2)

Subtracting (2) from (1), we get: y = 80

Therefore y = 80

Substituting y in equation 1, we get x -80 = 20

Therefore x = 100

Hence solved. x = 100, y = 80

Number of students in Hall A = 80

Number of students in Hall B = 100
