There are two fruits, mango and apple. Riddhi put them in a fraction in she put mango as numerator and apple as denominator. The numerator of the fraction is 2 less than the denominator. If one apple is added to it the denominator, it becomes ½. Find number of mangoes and apple as well as the fraction.

Then it said, if one is added to q the p/q becomes 1/2

So p'/q'=p/(q+1)=1/2

=>(q-2) /(q+1)=1/2

=>2*(q-2) =q+1

=>2q-4=q+1

=>q=5

=>p=q-2=5-2=3

So, Mangoes=3

Apples =5
