SOLUTION:

The story “A Letter to God” depicts two types of conflicts: one between man and nature and the other among men themselves. In the beginning of the story, the farmer was expecting a good rain to have good harvest as that was the only hope, he had for his earning. He worked hard to support his family but nature turned violent and destroyed everything.

The story also illustrates another conflict between humans themselves as the post master along with his staff sent Lencho money that he had demanded from God although they did not know him. Lencho blamed them for taking away some amount of money. He called them a ‘bunch of crooks’. This completely shows that a man does not have faith in another man. This is the conflict among men themselves, wherein, we are ready to trust in the idea of God’s existence but we are not ready to trust each other.
