Let’s take one number as =7x
And second number as =9x
Now,
They are increased by 6, so,
7x+6 and 9x+6
Now we need to find x,
We know that the ratio of the new Numbers That is 7x+6 and 9x+6 is 5:6 so we can say that:
7x+6 = 5
9x+6 6
So now we cross multiple,

6(7x+6) = 5(9x+6)
42x+36 = 45x+ 30
Now, taking the similar values together we get,
36-30 = 45x-42x
6 = 3x
6/3 = x
[3 x2 =6]
2/1 or 2 =x
Now we know the value of x, so,
The original numbers will be,
First number= 7x
= 7 (2)
=14
Second number = 9x
= 9(2)
=18

So, the new numbers will be,
First new number = 7x+6
=14+6
=20
Second new number =9x+6
=18+6
=24

Ratio of Two number is 7:9

Let the ratio be x = 7x and 9x

If each number is increased by 6 then

(7x + 6) : (9x + 6) = 5:6

(7x + 6)/(9x + 6) = 5/6

6(7x + 6) = 5(9x + 6)

42x + 36 = 45x + 30

42x - 45x = 30 - 36

-3x = -6

x = -6/-3

x = 2

The are 7x = 7 × 2 = 14

9x = 9 × 2 = 18
