3x=18(x-y)..... Eqn 1
4y= 2(x+y)-4... Eqn 2
After resolving Eqn 1
5x= 6y..... Eqn 3
After resolving Eqn 2
X-y= 4..... Eqn 4
X=4+y...... Eqn 5
Substitute Eqn 5 into Eqn 3
5(4+y)=6y
20+5y=6y
5y-6y= -20
-y= -20
Y = 20
Substitute Eqn y= 20 into Eqn 5
X= y + 4
X= 20+ 4
X= 24
Therefore x= 24, y = 20
4y= 2(x+y)-4... Eqn 2
After resolving Eqn 1
5x= 6y..... Eqn 3
After resolving Eqn 2
X-y= 4..... Eqn 4
X=4+y...... Eqn 5
Substitute Eqn 5 into Eqn 3
5(4+y)=6y
20+5y=6y
5y-6y= -20
-y= -20
Y = 20
Substitute Eqn y= 20 into Eqn 5
X= y + 4
X= 20+ 4
X= 24
Therefore x= 24, y = 20
