The leaf of the plant b, will turn blue black in colour wireless the leaf of plant a will have no such change in colour.

Explanation:

  • Starch solution helps in the  change in colour of iodine from brown to blue black.
  • as sunlight is required for photosynthesis plant b ,will perform photosynthesis and will synthesise starch due to which its colour will change blue black when tested with iodine solution.
  • However in plant a there will be no change in colour as there will be no photosynthesis due to absence of sunlight.
