perimeter of rectangular garden=2×(length+breath)

2×(500+400)=1800m

perimeter of square garden=1800m

area of square garden=side×side

=450m×450m=202500m

area of rectangular garden =length×breath

=500×400=200000m

202500>200000

so,area of square garden is not equal to area of rectangular garden.
