The answer is 3:5

GIVEN

There are two rectangles. the length of one rectangle is 30m and breadth is 100m. the length of the second rectangle is 25m and the breadth is 20m.

TO FIND

The ratio of areas.

SOLUTION

The above problem can be simply solved as follows;

Area of rectangle = Length × Breath

Area of 1st rectangle = 30 × 100 = 300m²

Area of second rectangle = 25 × 20 = 500m²

Ratio = 300 : 500

= 3 : 5

Hence, The answer is 3:5
